AFM® ng is a unique self-sterilizing and fully bio-resistant filter media that was developed to prevent the formation of harmful volatile disinfection by-products such as Trichloramines and THMs. In AFM® ng filter medium, filtration down to 1 micron is achieved without prior coagulation and flocculation. It also ensures significant water savings during backwashing, surpassing all other filter media.
